Minor Programme in Communication
Students seeking to pursue the study of a minor programme would need to fulfil 15 units of courses specified by the offering department/programme, and note that no registration priority will be given to enrolment in minor courses. Upon completion of the 15 units required for the minor programmes, students should apply to the Academic Registry for approval.
The structure of the curriculum is as follows:

|FILM2035 Fundamentals of Computer Graphics||3 units|
|JOUR2077 Chinese News Reporting and Writing||3 units|
|JOUR2085 English News Reporting and Writing||3 units|
|PRAO2005 Introduction to Public Relations and Advertising||3 units|
|At least one of the following courses**:|
|FILM3067 Creative Media Management||3 units|
|JOUR3115 Media Management||3 units|
|PRAO3067 Health Communication||3 units|
|PRAO4036 Social Communication and Advertising||3 units|
* Students can only choose either JOUR2077 Chinese News Reporting and Writing or JOUR2085 English News Reporting and Writing as an elective course under the Minor Programme in Communication.
** Students are required to take at least one 3-unit course at Level 3 or 4.
