The aims of the four-year full-time undergraduate programme of Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biochemical and Testing Sciences are:

  1. To provide students with a strong foundation in all principal areas of chemical sciences;
  2. To provide students with knowledge and skills in solving real-world problems of chemical sciences, meeting the needs from government, education, industrial, or commercial sectors;
  3. To equip students with adequate scientific knowledge and skills for employment/postgraduate studies locally or overseas.
