Minor Programme in Economics and Data Analytics (For Non-BBA Students)
Students seeking to pursue the study of a minor programme would need to fulfil 15 units of courses specified by the offering department/programme, with at least one course (3 units) at Level 3 or 4. Note that no registration priority will be given to enrolment in minor courses. Upon completion of the 15 units required for the minor programmes, students should apply to the Academic Registry for approval.

* Students majoring in Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in China Studies who have taken CHSE1005 Essentials of Economics are required to replace the required course by one of the elective courses.
(1) Students who have taken both ECON1005 Principles of Economics I and ECON1006 Principles of Economics II are not required to take ECON1007 Basic Economic Principles as the required course. Thus they are only required to take 12 units of elective courses to fulfil the minor programme requirement.
(2) Students must take at least one Level III or above courses.
(3) Students who have taken any of the above courses in their major programmes have to take additional elective course(s) to fulfil the minor programme requirement.
