Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemistry

Programme Director: Dr LEE, Chi Sing

The overall aim of the Chemistry programme is to provide students with a strong foundation in all principal areas of chemical science and to demonstrate the application of this knowledge in solving real-life chemical problems. The curriculum is designed to equip students with adequate knowledge in both pure and applied chemistry so that they are adequately and flexibly trained for both employment and postgraduate studies locally or overseas.

The structure of the curriculum is as follows:

I) Major Courses  64 units
II) Project 3 units
III) University Core Courses 13 units
IV) General Education Courses 18 units
V) Free Electives 30 units
    128 units
