CHEM3047 Chemistry Research Methods (1 unit)

To guide students in the development of research appreciation, writing, presentation, and methodology appropriate to the practice of chemistry. This course introduces students to the conceptual knowledge and practical means for executing experimental procedures in chemistry laboratories. The aim is to enhance ability of students to develop both hypothesis and exploratory driven research projects, perfume literature search, and design scientifically based experimental procedures. Students will also gain skills necessary to deliver oral presentation and write scholarly reports following academic ethical rules that shall guide them in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
