Bachelor of Social Work (Honours)

Programme Director: Prof CHAN, Chitat Larry

Hong Kong is a rapidly changing society with diverse problems and welfare needs posing many challenges for social work practitioners. To be effective, a professional social worker needs to know how to help individuals, groups and communities to solve problems, effect changes, wisely utilise scarce resources and improve the quality of life. The importance of social research and social policy is also given an emphasis.
