Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sports Industry Management

The overall aim of the SIM is to provide students with a comprehensive education in the dynamic sports industry of Hong Kong, a key hub for major international sports events. By integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experiences, students will develop a profound understanding of the sports industry system, including its key stakeholders, emerging trends, and prevalent challenges.
After completing this programme, students should be able to:
1. Apply practical skills across various sports business disciplines, preparing students for successful careers in the sports industry;
2. Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities by analyzing real-world case studies and projects within the sports industry;
3. Develop hands-on skills through internships and fieldwork with reputable local and global sports organizations, enhancing professional readiness;
4. Apply knowledge and skills to contribute to the growth and advancement of sports events and tourism in Hong Kong through practical initiatives.
