Master of Science in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence

The programme aims to equip students with cutting-edge methodologies and skills in data analytics and artificial intelligence. By acquiring these competencies, students will be able to apply advanced technologies to transform business needs into real-world IT solutions.
On completion of this programme, students should be able to achieve the following programme intended learning outcomes:
- explain the core concepts and methodologies of data analytics and artificial intelligence;
- Apply data analytics, artificial intelligence and the related technologies for problem solving and applications; and
- Identify business needs and apply data analytics, artificial intelligence, and the related technologies to transform these needs into real-world IT solutions.
The programme is offered in both one-year full-time and two-year part-time modes:
- One-year full-time mode: The normal duration of the programme in the full-time mode is one year, with a two-year maximum study duration, provided that due approval of study extension has been granted.
- Two-year part-time mode: The normal duration of the programme in the part-time mode is two years, with a three-year maximum study duration, provided that due approval of study extension has been granted.
