Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Sociology and Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Liberal Studies Teaching

The BSocSc (Hons) Sociology and BEd (Hons) Liberal Studies Teaching programme will provide thorough preparation over five years in two distinct disciplines: Sociology and Education Studies. Students who successfully complete the Programme will be conferred recognized teacher status. During the progression of their studies, students will undertake periods of school experience and teaching practice. In addition, one semester is scheduled to facilitate students’ participation in overseas exchange or off-campus internship. Students will take the full set of General Education courses in accordance with University requirement.

The structure of the curriculum is as follows:

# Students may take additional GE courses in any categories to fulfil the “Free Electives” requirement but only a maximum of 6 units will be counted towards the fulfilment of the “Free Electives” requirement.
