To cover advanced topics in artificial intelligence and machine learning, including trustworthy and efficient foundation models, discrete optimisation, reinforcement learning, and generative multimodal models. The course cultivates research thinking and covers hands-on skills through critical reading of academic papers, analysis, and research-oriented mini projects.
