This course aims to prepare undergraduate students for active participation in biological and environmental research by equipping them with foundational knowledge of scientific research methods. Students will develop an integrative understanding of full research cycle from formulating questions and designing experiments to collecting, analyzing, and communicating data. Emphasizing ethical practice, scientific rigor, and real-world relevance, the course supports key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 15 (Life on Land), SDG 14 (Life Below Water), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 4 (Quality Education).
