BIOL1005 Introduction to Biology (3 units)

This course is intended to train up students with a broad background in biological sciences such as cell biology, genetics, biodiversity, food system, sustainable
agriculture, conversation and human impacts on ecosystem services. Students will be encouraged not only to learn the main principles and mechanisms of bio-
logical sciences, but also to integrate such scientific concepts into their lives. This introductory course will prepare students for more in-depth studies in other courses in the BSc. degrees in Biology.
