The laboratory sessions in this course focus on practical applications of molecular biology and biochemistry. These hands-on classes serve to reinforce the concepts covered in lectures. Students will be introduced to the basic techniques in molecular biology. They will perform experiments, including DNA amplification and protein analysis. The emphasis is placed on providing students with individual hands-on experiences, allowing them to develop their skills and gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter. Throughput the laboratory sessions, the performance of students and results of the experiments will be assessed to ensure their progress and comprehension of the material.
