This course is designed for students who have completed Advanced Cantonese I or with equivalent competence in Cantonese. Students will be trained to present ideas and findings on diversified social topics. Topics related to gambling, sports and games, holidays and culture, law and society, environmental protection, etc. will be introduced. By the end of the course, students will be able to understand more complicated Cantonese related to social issues, give longer structured speeches and presentations in Cantonese, acquire better presentation skills and engage in complex Cantonese dialogues with fluency.
