This course helps students to understand and appreciate human development and behavior across the life span particularly with respect to socio-cultural differences and the social environment including social inequalities and gender inequalities. It examines the challenges and strengths of service users and targets in the local context to inform practice that enhances psychological well-being and to build social support.
