This course provides students with knowledge of counselling processes and skills in facilitating user exploration, assessing counselling needs, and designing intervention plans in the Hong Kong context. Major issues in counselling process, such as individual vs systemic perspective, emotional reciprocity in therapeutic relationship and the therapeutic triangle etc. in order to promote both personal and professional development of students, contributing to mental health.
