This course aims to:This course aims to:
- Introduce students to core theoretical debates and empirical findings in economic sociology
- Equip students with the ability to connect macro-level structures (states, law, globalization) with meso-(organizations,fields) and micro-level processes (valuation, hiring, household decisions)
- Build practical skills for studying economic life using qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method approaches, and for communicating sociological arguments clearly
- Foster critical and ethical reflection on commodification, inequality, and the moral boundaries of markets.
