This course aims to (1) teach the student the theory, principles, concepts, and practices that can be applied in the dynamic, ever changing, challenging, and rewarding field of coaching; (2) provide an overview of the concepts that are essential in the preparation of sport coaches; and (3) analyze the basics of the communication process used in coaching. Students are required to apply coaching strategies to facilitate learning opportunities for others, demonstrating inclusive and equitable quality education through coaching theory.
