This course aims to equip students with the strategic and technical skills necessary for effective data and database management in AI-driven business environments. It explores the strategic value of data and the building of robust data capabilities, covering data governance, security, and ethical considerations. Students will gain hands-on experience managing diverse data formats, from structured data using SQL and relational databases to semi-structured and unstructured data using NoSQL databases. The course also introduces vector databases, focusing on their architecture and applications in AI. By the end of the course, participants will be able to design and manage data systems that support AI applications while addressing ethical and security challenges.
