Courses
GEOG2005 Cultures, Peoples and Landscapes (3 units)
- Medium of Instruction:
- English
The course aims to develop students' understanding of the relationships between cultures, peoples, and landscapes. It does so by using a human geographical approach that recognises that politics, economics and power are key features of these relationships, particularly in relation to sustainable development, reduced inequalities, and inclusive communities. It also highlights issues of responsible resource management and environmental sustainability. On a more practical level it provides students with a valuable base for future and career development.
