This course introduces students to major theories and debates in gender studies. It equips students with analytical tools to deepen their understanding of cultures, identities, and gender equality. Students will examine how gender shapes power relations, social institutions, and access to resources and opportunities across diverse settings, including work, family, and everyday life. As a required course for Gender Studies Concentration, this course helps students build a solid theoretical foundation and develop critical awareness of gender-related issues and social justice for all.
