ECON7150 Global Macroeconomics & Cross-border Capital (3 units)
This course aims to provide the economic theories, practical frameworks, and models for students to understand the macroeconomic environment and its impact on cross-border capital under the evolving trend of globalization. In particular, the course covers topics in international trade dynamics, exchange rate volatility, geopolitical risk, and international capital movement. Current international economic issues such as trade protectionism, tariff warfare, financial crises, and currency internationalization, and the rise of digital assets will be examined through the lens of international economics and family office management.
