The aim of this course is to equip students with the practical skills needed for digital production design in both traditional film production and virtual production using an LED volume. Instruction combines classroom lectures with hands‑on studio work in a virtual production facility, to provide an intensive, technology‑driven learning experience and a theory-to-practice learning environment. Students will develop and integrate production‑ready digital assets with physical props and sets, gaining real production workflow experience. The course is delivered collaboratively with CTV7020: the final project will be a joint production, supported by weekly assignments and ongoing, comprehensive instructor evaluations.
