To study the object-oriented programming language Java and apply it in problem-solving. It covers basic Java syntax (such as variable types, controls, arrays, methods, and exception handling) and object-oriented programming concepts (such as inheritance, polymorphism, interfaces, abstract classes, and generics). Upon completion, students should be able to develop object-oriented programs to solve some common problems.
