This course aims to systematically introduce both the fundamentals and frontier methods of modern statistics and econometrics, with a strong focus on applications in management, finance, and industrial economics. The course starts with foundational topics such as probability, statistical inference, and regression analysis, and gradually moves towards advanced topics including panel data models, causal inference, structural modeling, and high-dimensional data methods. Emphasis will be placed on linking theory with real-world applications, enabling students to select appropriate empirical methods based on research questions.
