- Medium of Instruction:

This course provides students with hands-on experience in the approaches and techniques commonly used in environmental research. A local habitat will be selected and students will be trained to conduct sampling and analysis of various environmental matrices including water, soil and biota. It directly aligns fieldwork with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): water testing and BOD/COD monitoring support SDG 6 (Clean Water & Sanitation); soil analysis and contaminant tracking support SDG 15 (Life on Land); and evaluating waste/wastewater facilities drives solutions for SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities & Communities).
