There is a series of experiments exposing students to basic tools and techniques used in the study of Genetics. Various organisms are used in the laboratory to enhance the understanding of genetic theories and principles. By integrating hands-on laboratory training with theoretical knowledge, the course enhances students’ scientific literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. In addition, the course supports key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 4: Quality Education, and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, by promoting quality scientific education, strengthening research-related skills, and encouraging innovation in the life sciences.
