The main purpose of this course is to let students explore the impact of emerging technologies, such as AI, immersive technologies and blockchain, on filmmaking within the context of modern storytelling and production processes.
Students will be able to evaluate and apply advanced technological theories and tools to film development practices, enabling the creation of innovative projects that incorporate immersive experiences, interactive elements, and cutting-edge visual techniques. The course encourages students to learn how to design compelling narratives and fluid storytelling experiences using AI-driven processes alongside optimized implementations of digital cinematography and sound design, as well as how to apply stylized digital assets, lighting, and editing techniques to achieve intended unique aesthetic film styles.
