This course explores the ethical dilemmas, regulatory frameworks, and compliance obligations inherent in wealth management, with a focus on Hong Kong's role as a global financial hub. Students will examine real-world case studies, anti-money laundering (AML) protocols, fiduciary responsibilities, and emerging challenges such as FinTech and ESG investing. The course emphasises practical skills for navigating ethical conflicts while adhering to standards set by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), and international bodies like the Financial Action Task Force (FATF)
