- (1) Completion of Year I to III Sociology Core Units AND (2) Year IV standing in BSocSc Major in Sociology OR Year V standing in BSocSc Major in Sociology and BEd in Liberal Studies Teaching OR Year V standing in BSocSc Major in Sociology and BEd in Personal, Social and Humanities Education Teaching

A required project for all students wishing to complete a major as part of: Bachelor of Social Sciences in Sociology, or BSocSc in Sociology and BEd in Liberal Studies Teaching, or BSocSc in Sociology, and BEd in Personal, Social and Humanities Education Teaching students. Students will employ in-depth sociological research methods on a specific topic of interest to the student under the guidance of the course coordinator. Students are to consult with their course coordinator and/or teaching assistant on the design and conduct of their groups research projects.
