PERM3066 Applied Physiology Project (1) (3 units)
The Applied Physiology Project is an advanced course designed to provide students with practical knowledge and research skills in the field of sports sciences. The course emphasises the physiological basis of human performance and the application of this knowledge to real-world issues and conducting laboratory and field assessments. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: (1) Develop students' research interests and ideas in sports science; (2) Enhance students' ability to critically analyse and contribute to research in the field; (3) Apply physiological concepts to an independent study; (4) Conduct and analyse research in applied physiology; (5) Prepare students for independent research projects and future academic or professional endeavours; and (6) Communicate research findings effectively in written and oral formats.
