This course aims to familiarise students with the principles of analytical chemistry and basic analytical techniques including volumetric, gravimetric and various instrumental analysis. Students will learn both theoretical concepts and practical skills necessary for qualitative and quantitative analysis and their application in quality assessment, chemical analysis, and bioactive component studies of Chinese herbal medicines. Students with develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address analytical challenges in the fields of Pharmacy and Chinese herbal medicines.
