MATH3606 Differential Equations II (3 units)

This course introduces the theory of partial differential equations (PDEs) that model important physical processes in industrial development, scientific and engineering contexts. Solution techniques such as separation of variables, Green’s functions, generalised solutions, calculus of variations and fixed point theorems will be used to solve a variety of linear and nonlinear partial differential equations.
