Linear algebra is an important and versatile theory essential for statistics, machine learning, data science, scientific computing and numerous other STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields and technological innovations. The course covers the fundamental concepts of linear equations, matrices, linear transformations, bases, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, orthogonality and least squares problems. The course includes matrix and vector calculations and basic training in handling mathematical concepts, so students can better understand the subject’s diverse applications in their future courses.
