This course applies concepts of pre-university level mathematics and statistics to solve real-life problems. Instead of drilling questions, students will learn problem-solving methodologies and hands-on ICT (information and communication technology) skills to solve problems with computer software. The perspectives in this course are important for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields and quantitative aspects of business and economics, as well as for everyday statistical literacy.
