This course is a progression for Non-Chinese students who have completed "Introductory Mandarin for Non-Chinese Speakers (Part I)" (LANG1105)/"Chinese I"(UCLC1015) or those with equivalent prior training. It aims to reinforce students’ understanding of the phonetic patterns of Mandarin, expand their Chinese vocabulary, and develop their spoken and listening abilities in Mandarin. Students will be trained through various learning activities and hands-on equipping them to communicate effectively in basic daily life situations using Mandarin.

Note: This course does not fulfill the graduation language requirement for 4-year NCS students.
