This course is designed for students taking Transdisciplinary Second Major and students in Bachelor of Communication (Hons) in Interactive Media Publishing to explore the principles, practices, and methodologies of transdisciplinary research and practice. It aims to equip students with the skills to integrate knowledge from various disciplines to address complex real-world problems and social issues.
Course Objectives: (1) Understand the concept and significance of transdisciplinary approach with transectoral and transcultural perspectives; (2) Explore various tools and methodologies used in transdisciplinary inquiries; (3) Design innovative solutions via transdisciplinary approaches to real-world problems for social good and (4) Acquire techniques to facilitate effective communication across disciplines and with stakeholders.
