IMPP3007 Practicum (Interactive Media Publishing) (3 units)
In this course, students will be immersed in the field of interactive media publishing through a comprehensive and engaging approach. They will develop industry awareness by participating in professional seminar events, engaging in discussions with industry professionals to gain insights into current practices and trends. Students will also undertake internship/practicum activities, choosing between practical projects suggested by relevant organisations, which may involve hands-on production work, or field visits to research and learn exemplary applications in the industry. This flexible approach will deepen their understanding of the publishing landscape, foster valuable real-world connections and keep them at the forefront of industry development. Additionally, students will enhance their communication skills by presenting their practicum activity plans, outcomes, and reflections to peers and instructors.
