This course aims at developing a critical, sustainable perspective on design practice by referencing and documenting analysis of interdisciplinary concerns and utilizing the findings for innovative thinking in product and project development as well as system design. The pedagogical approach of the course will enable students to enhance their problem-solving skills through alternative and action-based teaching and learning. The course will address design principles and practices informed by aesthetics, economics, as well as socio-cultural and technological expertise.
