This course covers the basic concepts in the science and technologies of modern telecommunications and digital technologies. The aims of this course are to introduce the basic principles and components used in these ICT Infrastructures, as well as the applications of digital technologies in internet and wireless communications. Technological innovation related to network communication, such as cellular and 5G technologies, and the digitalisation of energy network, will also be discussed.
