This course will introduce the foundational knowledge of electronic sensors and analog/digital technologies for data acquisition. The sensors discussed in this course can interface with Internet-of-things (IoT) objects, which are important components of smart and sustainable cities. The acquired skills will prepare the students for advanced courses in green energy studies and also developing automation in different scientific disciplines.
