This course provides knowledge of climate change, carbon footprint measurement and mitigation solutions for sustainable cities. With a focus on the quantification of anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions, it integrates technical, economic, and organisational approaches to assist students in examining the core areas of carbon management in different sectors. It also prepares students to create and implement the multi-faceted strategies to the carbon problem with an in-depth understanding of the complexity and multidisciplinary nature of the sustainable issues in the city.
