FINE3025 Entrepreneurial Finance (3 units)

This course is deigned for students who are interested in gaining a broader understanding of the concepts and institutions in entrepreneurial finance and venture capital markets. It provides an overview of how to evaluate and finance a new venture through its life cycle. It offers students an opportunity to examine venture ideas, financial plan, difference sources of financing, startup valuation methods, term sheets as well as exit strategies. Students will participate in creating and assessing business plans, taking on the roles of both entrepreneurs and investors.
