This course is designed to enhance and enrich students’ experience by integrating the academic component of the course with the practical experience gained at the internship site in the creative and cultural sector in Hong Kong. The aim of this course is to offer an insight into working within local creative industries and allow students to gain entry-level, career-related work experience in the field. Under the guidance of both faculty and workplace supervisor, students will work in an institution as interns and complete work assignments that enable them to learn about the nature and function of the creative industry-based organisation with which students are affiliated. This course also helps students to define more clearly their career goals and to establish future career networks in or beyond local creative industries.
