Through studying the Canon, this course provides the fundamental theories and principles of treatment in Chinese medicine. It aims to provide students with an all-round and extensive knowledge of Chinese medicine’s basic theories.

Remark: In addition to the stated medium of instruction, Cantonese would be used for supplementing and facilitating teaching and learning as appropriate.  

《內經》是我國現存最早的醫學典籍，內容甚繁雜，課時所限，設爲選讀。作爲一門獨立的專業課，其現實意義有二：一是以原文文字表述的重要知識，二是這些知識所體現及所遵循的思路。此亦是課程的主要目的，三是學會一些重要概念及學習方法。
