BUSI3096 Sustainable and Innovation Change Management (3 units)
The arrogance of success is to think that what you did yesterday will be sufficient for tomorrow. This course equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead innovation processes and implement organisational change initiatives in today's rapidly evolving digital landscape. The course will emphasise the importance of a human-centric approach to innovation and change, focusing on the sustainability and enduring nature of organisational transformations. Through a blend of key theoretical concepts, frameworks, and practical applications, students will develop the ability to (1) understand the strategic importance of innovation and change management in the digital age; (2) analyse the internal and external factors influencing innovation and change within organisations; (3) develop a strategic innovation and change management plan that aligns with organisational objectives; (4) implement effective innovation and change initiatives using appropriate methodologies and tools; (5) measure and evaluate the impact of innovation and change initiatives on organisational performance; and (6) communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to foster support and engagement.
