This course provides students with a basic understanding of the fundamental concepts and practice of enterprise digitalisation and transformation. Digitalisation systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERPs) will be introduced in this module. In particular, students will learn what Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERPs) are and how organisations can use ERPs to run their operations so as to support enterprise digitalisation and transformation.

Through this module, students will develop an appreciation of the use and deployment of ERPs in organisations, comprehend the critical benefits and risks of ERPs, and analyse the implementation of ERPs. Moreover, this module will incorporate laboratory sessions using Microsoft Dynamics (or other substitutable such as SAP) software so students can gain hands-on experience about how to navigate the software with ease.
