BUS 7020 Strategic Executive Development (3 units)

The objective of this course is to enrich students’ understandings and develop business acumen to lead and manage sustainable performance in the real-world fast-changing and global competitive digital transforming complex business challenges and to broaden students’ practical knowledge and how business decision affect the business financial performance considering the disruption of political, economic, social, technology, so that they can be sustainable high performance future-ready and ethical business leaders.
By means of seminars, case studies, and simulation workshops, students will be exploring effective strategic thinking and business decision making by delving into underlying integrated and collaborative cross functional business mindset shifts, practice simulated real-business challenging scenarios with varying degrees of business ambiguity and complexity, and hence students will be effectively understand the latest knowledge and challenges and development in Digital Transformation, Entrepreneurship and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and develop essential strategic managerial competencies in fast changing globalise business adventures.
Senior management-level practitioners, industry leaders and experts will be invited as guest lecturers to provide valuable industry insights to supplement the theoretical knowledge learnt from the programme.
