This course aims to provide students an opportunity to gain entry-level, career-related real-life working experience related to the entertainment business and/or arts, cultural and creative industries. Under the guidance of both faculty and workplace supervisor, students will work in an organisation as interns and complete work assignments that are primarily related to the organisation’s business operations such as venue operation, administration, marketing, project and event management. Alternatively, students may be involved in content creation, or given an opportunity to bring changes for existing and emerging forms of arts and culture. It is believed that the overall internship experience can enhance students’ transdisciplinary vision and would be helpful in establishing and/or verifying the students’ career intentions.
