PCMD2036 Marketing of Chinese Medicines and Legal Aspects of International Business 中藥市場與國際貿易 (3 units)
The course aims to provide students with information on the market of Chinese medicines both in mainland China and abroad, and facilitate their contributions to the international trade of Chinese medicines in Hong Kong in the future. International standards and quality specifications of traditional herbal medicinal products, concepts, contents and advances in the development of pharmacopoeias and other standards and quality specifications are introduced, followed by topics on oversea regulatory information including registration procedures on traditional herbal medicinal products. By the end of the course, students are expected to acquire essential knowledge on the international market of Chinese medicines, standards and regulations related to herbal medicinal products and a general understanding of their significance to the internationalization of Chinese medicines.
